Natural look, recycled fibres, surprising colours
The Domotex restart was successful. After being cancelled two years in a row due to the pandemic the world-leading trade fair for floor coverings and carpets made its triumphant. More than 730 exhibitors greeted international visitors from the industry from 12 – 15 January in eight fairground halls (some of which were not exactly full). The number of exhibitors was significantly less than in 2020, but that in no way affected the mood in Hannover, which was great. All exhibitors, whether they were showing hand-made individual pieces or machine-woven collection goods, said they were either satisfied or very satisfied about the visitor response they got. A majority of visitors too were satisfied with what they saw in the carpet-laden halls, despite some purchasers not seeing their regular suppliers there.
