The Trend Space in hall 9.0 was another ma- jor draw, featuring a Future Materials Library where innovative interior material were on display. Cutting-edge UK-based agency FranklinTill was the lead concept designer of “Textiles Matter” as part of this year’s Heimtex- til Trends.
Innovative materials were presented in the Fu- ture Materials Library, including natural fabrics made of mushrooms, plant fibre and recycled waste products, providing a glimpse of the home textiles of tomorrow. But already today, most players in the global textile industry have realigned their manufacturing processes for sustainability, and are forming strong partner- ships and taking other measures to effectively ensure supply chain transparency. Products, so- lutions and inspiration was on exhibit at the many exhibitors stands at Heimtextil.
