Heimtextil 2023, Frankfurt, Germany
44,000 visitors descended upon Frankfurt
Heimtexil – the leading international trade fair for home and household textiles – was held from 10-13 January this year. According to fair
management, 44,000 visitors and 2,400 exhibi- tors from 129 nations attended the expo over the four-day period. The countries most repre- sented by the attending visitors were Germany, Italy, Turkey, the US, the UK, France, the Neth- erlands, Spain, Pakistan, India and Greece. The percentage of international exhibitors rose versus 2020 to 94%, while the percentage of in- ternational visitors rose to 82% at Heimtextil 2023.
The show’s restart after a two-year forced break (with a one-off summer edition last June) was quite respectable, and expectations were sig- nificantly exceeded. Hand-woven rug special- ist Paulig was very satisfied – a company that has been a member of the fair’s Deco Team for several years. The special Deco Team exhibit has been a mainstay at Heimtextil for 35 years,
