Berlin’s Carpet Lounge wins a Carpet Star 2023 for
excellence in multi-channel carpet retailing

This year’s award winner for excellence in mul- ti-channel carpet retail went to the Berlin’s Car- pet Lounge, owned by Dirk Golisch – a known carpet expert with extensive sales experience.
4 Golisch opened his shop in 2020 in Berlin’s well- situated Steglitz district shortly before the first lockdown ... and went on to successfully navi- gate his business through the pandemic crisis. The Carpet Lounge’s assortment spans the up- per mid-range to premium segments. Carpet Lounge Berlin was an e-commerce store only in- itially, but a bricks-and-mortar outlet was added on one year later. Then in 2021 Golisch launched a second online shop, teppich-traeume.de, for the lower-priced mainstream segment, before opening the teppichliebe.com marketplace a year after that. Now his business is also acces- sible via the new website teppich-beratung.de, which is flanked by the online agency creative-

design.berlin, responsible for all corporate mar- keting. This seeming empire is run by just three highly dedicated individuals overseeing the various channels: Golisch, his nephew Daniel Künzelmann who is store manager and IT and Marketing manager Sebastian Bruntke.
