Designer Sebastian Herkner worked with select interior elements in an installation entitled Crafted Emotions that stages an encounter between design and sensual feeling and perception. Herkner designed the exhibited Forest Trail and City Trail carpets, with stylized “barcode” patterns, for M2R Rugs.
Designer and photographer Peter Fehrentz gave the title Space on Earth/Earth in Space to the inte- rior scene of his creation, which represents a place for relaxation where materiality and sustainabili- ty are in focus. Fehrentz designed the graphic Teppich Lines rugs for Kymo.
The interior mood created by industrial designer Mark Braun, titled Dialogue of Hidden Values, focused on combinations of natural and industrial products, playing with opposites and similarities. The Coloured Fringes kilim rug is by textile manufacturer Kinnasand; the Kanon rug is by Kvadrat.
