Inspiring Mood Spaces
The room installations in Hall 9, created by a team of big-name designers led by interiors influencer Holly Becker, were popular as a place for fair-goers to meet up. Five distinct interior trends were presented in the form of a 3D collage, providing stimulating ideas for trade fair visitors – with carpets featuring prominently, of course.
As exhibition curator, multi-talented interiors pro Holly Becker highlighted craftsmanship with an intriguing feel, incorporating vintage ele- ments and personal flair in her Sensory Design. The carpet with extra-long fringe was created by Mareike Linau for Lyk Carpet.
The concept behind Colourful Nature compositi-
on by designers Marcel Besau and Eva Marguerre revolves around colours from the natural world – but bold ones rather than subdued tones. The duo crea- ted radiant blue and bright red-orange carpets for Reuber Henning.
