Thus the second-ever Carpet Week Hamburg opened on 12 September, perfectly timed for the start of the autumn season. With 15 participat- ing suppliers, the fair was more concentrated this time, yet the spectrum of exhibited goods re- mained vast: handmade collection rugs, classic-
patterned individual Persian pieces, high-quality modern Nepalese carpets, fine silk rugs, modern South Persian nomadic carpets, Afghan rugs both classic and modern and decorative antique rugs.
The 2023 dates and accompanying concepts for Carpet Week Hamburg will be decided some- time after the editorial deadline for
this issue of Carpet Home.
